Even if you are really successful and famous, things can still happen in your personal life which can affect your health. This is exactly what happened to our favourite television and radio presenter, Rylan.

Here is a little 'behind the scenes' on how our very own Scott Harrison, from The Six Pack Revolution, coached Rylan back to a healthier and happier version of himself!

When a relationship breaks down it can have a devastating affect on your health and wellbeing, which can be even more difficult if you are trying to cope with the pain in front of millions of people who listen to your radio show and look forward to watching you on TV every week.

This is exactly where our favourite national treasure, Rylan, found himself earlier this year. With Rylan’s mental health also taking a battering, Rylan dropped out of the public eye for 4 months to concentrate on getting well.

Once Rylan was feeling a little more positive, he wanted to feel better and reach a healthy weight.

Rylan contacted our founder, Scott Harrison and joined our proven 75-day programme.

During those 75 days, our founder, Scott Harrison, took Rylan under his wing and developed a balanced plan with a new eating regime that involved combining a balance of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Alongside a structured exercise programme pushing Rylan that little bit further.

Scott's Goal

Scott felt it was important that Rylan understood how to fuel the body correctly. Learning about nutrition enabled Rylan to fully take on board the changes he was going to have to make.

Of course, for maximum results, nourishing your body and exercise is key, and an intense fitness routine was also created to build muscle and make Rylan physically stronger.

Rylan was fortunate enough to have his own home gym and we are sure it helped that Scott was banging on his door at 7.30 in the morning to get started.

Coaching is such a big part of The Six Pack Revolution, and our online programme provides support and guidance for every single participant.

The Plan

The plan was built around ensuring Rylan got to a healthy weight and gained muscle. There were some boundaries, but it was about using the plan to essentially hit the restart button and learn new coping mechanisms.

Here is how it worked:

Regular Workouts

Each workout was developed to be progressive, creating core strength and clear muscle definition. A mixture of weights and fitness equipment were used to create an intense workout.

Scott used The Six Pack Revolution fitness and nutrition system to ensure Rylan gained muscle without gaining fat, and kept cardio to a minimum.

It was very much about devising a resulted-driven programme that suited Rylan’s goals and used his own existing equipment in his home gym to make it easier for him.

Rylan really embraced the changes Scott made to his daily routine, taking everything on board and giving 100% in each session. Results started to show very quickly, which spurred Rylan on.

The Six Pack Revolution Nutrition

Whether the goal is to lose fat or gain lean muscle, The Six Pack Revolution nutrition plan creates BALANCE for the body.  Each recipe, created by our founder Scott Harrison, categorises the ingredients into 3 macronutrients:

  1. Protein
  2. Carbohydrates
  3. Healthy fats

Whether it’s a snack or meal, the right macronutrients are providing the correct BALANCE to the body and the mind.

It was important that Scott guided Rylan through how this worked to help him use food in a positive way, consuming much more food than usual to support his body transformation.

Rylan's new daily meal plan consisted of:

  1. Four balanced meals a day using recipes from Scott’s recipe book Eat Your Way to a Six Pack. The recipes had to be adapted as Rylan needed to gain muscle rather than lose fat.
  2. Two meal replacement smoothies which included 1/2 a serving of a post workout smoothie.
  3. 1/2 serving of a post workout smoothie.
  4. Two balanced snacks from The Six Pack Revolution programme included within Scott’s recipe book.
  5. Drink 4 litres of water to stay hydrated, spread throughout the day to improve cardiovascular health and allow the joints and muscles to work better.

Introducing The Founder

Modern renaissance man Scott Harrison has helped change the lives of thousands. Scott trained with owner of the world’s most famous six pack, Peter Andre, and given transformations to Dawn Ward (Real Housewives of Cheshire) and Tommy Mallet (The Only Way Is Essex). One of his most dramatic body makeovers was with TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, who went from tall and skinny to superhero hunk. Plus, of course, this amazing transformation for radio and television presenter, Rylan Clark.

Making incredible transformations happen in the easiest possible way is Scott’s mantra, so he worked with leading food scientists to produce a range of meal replacement and post-workout protein smoothies. The Results…

Scott spent time with Rylan coaching on a 1:1 basis, guiding and motivating him through a detailed nutrition, exercise and mindset plan. A Final Word from Scott

My time with Rylan has been tough and beautiful at the same time. Watching my new friend start with a drive to succeed by whatever means was inspiring. We had laughter, we had tears but we overcame all the obstacles and as you can see Rylan is a new man.

When you go on a journey like this with someone you cannot help but become very close and in Rylan’s case we truly have found a long lasting friendship. By setting goals to achieve optimum health and happiness, allows you to focus on positive changes. Each small step becomes a huge transformation as long as you keep moving forward.

I would like to congratulate Rylan on not only achieving this positive body transformation but by truly trusting and believing in my guidance! I know this is just the beginning for him as we have already begun to plan the next phase.
