Here is my story on the lean team Six Pack Revolution, it's been one of the hardest things I have taken part in but it's worth every second off my time, the results are unreal to say the least. My body has changed so much in such a small space of time going from beer belly to rock hard abs crazy. But one more thing I have gained is friendships with people from all over the world which is awesome, and the commitment of Scott the head coach is amazing, he was born to be a leader and that's what he does, he takes you to the limit and then some but that what you need in a leader to push you when you think you can not do it anymore. I will say with all my heart the best thing I have done in years joining the lean team love you guys. Much love!

I have been involved in health, fitness and nutrition for many years. During this time I have been a regular gym user where the aim has always been to get "the beach body". I hadn't seen my abs since my teens and the more weights I lifted the bulkier I got. I heard about the Six Pack Revolution through a friend and both my wife and I thought we'd give it a go. From day one there was constant and very clear instructions both around the exercise and diet plans. No question was too silly and the responses were practically immediate. During the first couple of weeks I not only saw the pounds drop off, but my fitness was going up so quickly that I even decided to do my first triathlon! I went from not even being able to run 1K to easily doing 10K in a matter of weeks. One thing I should mention is that I have previously had my left knee reconstructed three times in the last 12 years. The coaches’ constant encouragement and the support of the rest of the team is THE ONLY reason that I was able to achieve those milestones. Without Scott I would still be the guy who couldn't run as he had a bad knee. This alone has literally changed my life. Throughout the whole process I have seen steady improvements and I am now the proud owner of a body in almost single digit body fat, defined shoulders, arms and most importantly SIX PACK ABS!! Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this process. Most I have never met but all I now consider friends.

90 day abs challenge?? I actually laughed myself when I heard this. I was seriously over weight again no chance of any abs appearing on me! The more people I told about the challenge the more I heard "you couldn't last 9 days let alone 90!" Or "you insane you love food too much!!” The more Negative I heard the more determined I was to at least join!! In my head all I wanted was not to be fat when I turned 30! Abs would just be a bonus but in my head still impossible to achieve! When I had my accident I was a size 8, running was a breeze for me, I was fit and healthy, then I was hit by a motor bike riding at 130mph. I was left paralysed for 3-4months and had to learn to walk again. I heard so much negative, ranging from you weren't built to run anyway, to you won't be able to be a personal trainer now, the pain was and still is a daily reminder but at the time depression hit me hard and I comfort ate. The weight piled on and that made things even worse for me. I got to the point where I was so sick of hearing "you won't be able to do this or that", I wanted so much more for my kids than the depressed, fat mess I had become and the worse I got the more the biker had won. The only way to fix things was to change! Then I heard the 90 day challenge was running again I just had to join it, did I think I'd last, no not at all but I sure as hell was going to give it everything I had, I owed my kids that much!!

The challenges came in thick and fast I remember running 5k again and the buzz was mind blowing and then 10k, 10k??? I ran 10k even now it seems crazy to say, I'd never ran 10k prior to my accident let alone with my injuries and the pains etc. but I did it!!! Proud was an understatement! How did I manage it? It all boils down to the fact I had the support and encouragement from Scott and the team, they believed in me so I learnt to believe in myself. I know I've not got the abs (yet!) and with being ill and having a lot of allergic reactions to things, I had a few knock backs, which means my results could have been so much better but these results are seriously what I was aiming for anything else will be a bonus!!! I WILL get my abs because this plan doesn't stop for me at the end of the month I'm going to carry it on and I will have abs for my girly holiday to Marbs next year!! I will be running 5k with ease, hey might even throw a few 10ks in for FUN!! I will be a size 8-10 and I will be the healthiest I've ever been and Scott this is all down to you!!! I wish I could truly open up about the journey I've been on, how rubbish things have been for personal reasons but you guys have kept me sane and more determined than I've ever been before you believed in me and for the first time in such a long time I actually believe in myself, thank u thank u thank u x 

Scott I will forever be thankful for everything you have done, not just for me but my family!! My babies have their mummy back and it's not over yet! xx

December 15th I heard that Scott was going to try and get a 6 pack in 90 days. After a chat with him I decided to join him as I needed a challenge to kick start my new fitness routine.  I realised very quickly that the challenge was going to be hard but a great challenge. Scott added us all to a whatsapp group which was awesome as everyone bounced off one another helped each other out, offered each other advice but most of all motivated each other to keep going, the main driving force with the motivation was Scott, he was always there to pick you up when down and give you a kick up the bum when it was needed. During the 90 days Scott set weekly challenges for us to do as well as doing our own training. A lot of the challenges were running which as great as it helped me get the bug back for running. At the start of the challenge my body fat was 19.8% and I knew that to get a 6 pack I would need to drop that to below 15% at the end of the challenge I was 13.8% body fat and achieve a 6 pack. Pleased yes, very pleased. I like to say a massive thank you to Scott Harrison for all his help and advice throughout the 90 days without him I wouldn't have achieved it.

In these last few months, I have decided to rediscover who I am, I was unhappy with a lot of things, but mainly I was not happy with my body, but I was at a loss of where to go and what to do. So, in August I signed up to a 90 day Six Pack programme. I know that I may not get a Six Pack but I could get close to one. My body was in a terrible state after having 5 kids. Before we started Scott gave us something to do, we need to get a battle rope for some of the workouts. The 1st of September came and I was ready for it. The fridge was full and so was the cupboard, we did not have to do any planning as it was all being done for us by Scott and the team, our workouts were planned each week and our meal plans had been set so all we needed to do was follow the plan.

After the 1st 30 days I could not believe my eyes, I was in a size 10 for the first time since I was about 19. However, I was still unhappy, I was going through a hard time with one of my children and I was struggling to stay on track, but I could not have been the only one, as even more encouragement would come from all over the place from my old and new friends. As we hit the 2nd 30 days, myself and Kerry G stayed strong as we went to Thorpe park with some of the other Herbalife guys and they were eating sweet popcorn and pizza, but we were eating our zone meals on that day we had cold cod and asparagus with avocado mmmm nice and the others were laughing at us but look that us now, who’s laughing now. Just before the end of the last 30 days, I shocked myself when I put on my 11-year-old school jumper over the top of my Herbalife jumper and then I though let me see, can I get his rugby kit on and oh yes I did over moon with the results. We have come to the end of this challenge and have found that I am a happier Person, and I am back in control of my life. Throughout this challenge I have read the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and have learned a lot about who I am, and who I would like to be. I may not have a Six Pack yet but it is on its way. I will keep the food plan majority of the time or I will even do it all again and I will get the Six Pack. I will just keep working on it. Thank you.

WHO WAS I ? 

I wasn't very confident or happy with my body, I always covered up, avoided pictures with the girls and never felt good in my clothes. I had everything I wanted in life, amazing fiancé, new house and good job but got comfortable, was in my comfort zone and got stuck, I felt like a shadow of myself. Then I saw a friends result after doing this 90 day programme and was like wow how can she look so incredible in her 50's after 90 days! That could be me I thought, so I got my head in the zone, did my research, interacted with other people on the team via social media, I was committed, determined and focused. Three important factors to me, I created a vision board, printed out pictures and inspiring quotes to keep me going. Yes it was hard, no good result is easy, your head needs to be in the zone to get to day 90, you need your team around you supporting and encouraging you, you need to motivate yourself and put 110% in but trust me it will be the best thing you ever do. We are like a family, we pick each other up when one is down, we keep everyone going, the support is wow and your coach is also your friend. 

WHO I AM NOW? 

The most important thing that has come from this is my confidence, wow, I have that glow again that big smile, , the way I carry myself, the way I dress, my partner is amazed how different I am. Losing 2 stone was incredible going from a size 12 to a small 8 all the inches and fat was gone but most all I found myself, I know I can do anything I put my mind to, I now go to the gym 5-6 days a week I love working out, prepping your food is key to succeed. I am now the one inspiring people, the compliments are amazing all thanks to The Six Pack Revolution and what amazing people the coaches are. I am now back for round 2 and can’t wait for my new results all about muscle building and toning for me, lets get to work.

I am just an ordinary very busy mummy of 3 young beautiful children, I also suffered with ME & extreme fatigue due to thyroid problems that for a very long time had held me back in my day to day life & made my days a struggle. When the opportunity came along to join #thesixpackrevolution I felt it was time just to give myself & my health a little bit of time & focus, something we never do as 'mummy’s'. I desperately wanted to feel comfortable again in my own skin, I just wanted to feel well! I had no idea what this journey entailed or how I was going to manage but I was ready to make a change & made that leap of faith. When you do something like this, you are never on your own, you have an amazing team of people, willing you on every step of the way.

The positivity, the motivation, the knowledge & the love & support is second to none. I have worked hard to achieve my results, it has been far from easy, some days I've felt like giving up but as I found out quite quickly that is all part of the journey & with a bit of self belief, encouragement & guidance anything is possible!  To think when I started I couldn't run 1k or do a press up, fitness was something alien to me. The strength I now have physically & mentally still amazes me & my extreme fatigue is something of the past (I never thought I'd be able to say that). What an amazing feeling to catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror & you still can't quite believe what you see!! In actual fact this journey for me has been life changing, physically & mentally!! Reaching day 55 and having my interim results posted on social media was the best feeling, as I knew what Scott said was right that this will change your life.
