How to whitelist our email

Sometimes depending on your mail provider they may be placing the email into junk/spam.  If you keep finding our emails in there and the option it gives you (“This is not junk”) does not work, you can do something that is called Email White Listing which will make sure our email stays out of the spam folder.

In this KB article we have included some of the more common mail clients below. If you cannot find details below on your specific mail client, Google “Email Whitelisting [your email client” and you will find instructions that way.

Gmail #

Mark messages as ‘Not spam’

If Gmail has marked emails you wish to whitelist as spam, tell Gmail the emails are not spam.

  1. In Gmail, navigate to the spam folder.
  2. Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist (thesixpackrevolution.com).
  3. Select all the emails shown.
  4. Click More and then Not spam.

This also works if you open one up and select the option, “This is not spam”.

If the above option does not work, you can create a filter by doing the following:

  1. Click the gear icon in Gmail and select “See all settings” from the Quick settings menu.
  2. Navigate to “Filters and Blocked Addresses” in the top menu.
  3. Select “Create a new filter.”
  4. Add a specific email or a whole domain in the “From” field.
  5. Click “Create filter.”
  6. Check “Never send it to Spam” in the checkbox.
  7. Click “Create filter.”

Outlook #

  1. Click the gear icon in Outlook and select “View all Outlook settings.”
  2. Select “Mail” from the settings menu.
  3. Choose “Junk email” from the submenu.
  4. Click “Add” under “Safe senders and domains.”
  5. Enter “*@thesixpackrevolution.com”.
  6. Choose “Save.”

On Outlook mobile, you can add senders to your focused inbox to ensure delivery of their emails. Here’s how:

  1. Open the email you want to whitelist.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top right of the screen (not the dots inside the email).
  3. Tap Move to Focused Inbox.
  4. In the popup box, tap the radius button for “Move this and all future messages” then tap MOVE TO FOLDER.

Yahoo #

  1. Open Yahoo Mail and log into your account.
  2. Navigate to “Settings” then click “More Settings.”
  3. Select “Filters” and hit “Add” to enter the email you’d like to whitelist.
  4. Name the filter and add “*@thesixpackrevolution.com”

Apple Mail #

Apple Mail doesn’t have the option to whitelist like some other email providers do. Instead, all you can do is mark something as “Not Junk” and it will be sent to your inbox. Here’s how:

  1. Open your Mail app and go to the Mailboxes screen.
  2. Select the Junk folder.
  3. Find the email you want to whitelist and swipe left to see options.
  4. Tap the More button.
  5. Tap the Mark button.
  6. Tap the Mark as Not Junk button.

Mac osX Mail App #

To whitelist all emails from a domain in the Mail app for Mac OS X or macOS:

  1. In the top menu, click Mail > Preferences.
  2. Click the Rules tab.
  3. Click Add Rule.
  4. Enter a whitelist name in the Description field, such as “Whitelist: thesixpackrevolution.com” to create the new rule.
  5. For conditions, set the first dropdown menu item to any. It should say: If any of the following conditions are met.
  6. In the following dropdown menus, select From in the first field and Ends with in the second field.
  7. In the text field following Ends with, enter the domain name that you want to whitelist. Include “@” before the domain name to make the filter specific—for example, to whitelist all mail from the thesixpackrevolution.com domain, but not mail that might come from one of its subdomains (such as @thesixpackrevolution.com), type “@thesixpackrevolution.com” into the field.
  8. Click the plus sign next to the last condition to add another domain with the same criteria if you want to whitelist more domains.
  9. In the Perform the following actions section, set the three dropdown items to: Move Message, to the mailbox: Inbox (or any target folder you want).
  10. Click OK to save the rule.
